  As a History Instructor, I teach American history, world history, and women’s history classes, instructing students in seated, blended, and online courses. Piloted new delivery methods, including satellite teaching to CCP (College and Career Promise) students in low-population high schools. Prepared lesson plans, syllabi, lectures, tests, quizzes, and paper assignments promoting historical knowledge and critical thinking for different learning styles. Created a History Club to increase student engagement and hold events on campus. Crafted the History Department schedule. Completed necessary administrative duties. As Director of QEP, I oversee the development of the QEP to include creative timelines, coordinating committees and sub-committees, and drafted the document for SACSCOC while serving on the SACSCOC Leadership Team. I foster a collaborative environment with faculty, staff, and administration on the QEP Steering Committee to design new policies, processes, and professional development opportunities.
