Retail Assistant
-
Mar 2007 - May 2010
My job was to ensure customer satisfaction as retail assistant. I learned about the electrical side of solar panels and low voltage wiring for caravan, camper trailer and 4wd use. I was also expected to stock shelves and keep inventory of the shop, ensuring that products were displayed. I was also in charge of marketing of new products and special deals through print media and in store. I became the ad hoc spare parts interpreter - breaking down and identifying parts on water pumps and other electrical items. Show less

My job was to prepare plaster casts of peoples feet for orthotics that were made in house. I was the first contact for clientele, generally podiatrists and I developed quite a rapport with most of them. I was also in charge of finishing the product and ensuring products met turnaround times as specified by the customer.
