These results positively influence bottom line results and have a direct impact on creating competitive advantage for State Fund. Overall responsibilities include managing an annual Enterprise Spend in excess of $350 million and a Claims Spend in the hundreds of millions of dollars. In collaboration with Executive Committee, business unit leaders, and key stakeholders, develop and implement sourcing strategies to drive cost savings, efficiency, and support enterprise goals. Support Executive Committee in managing the relationship with strategic suppliers. Lead contract negotiations, contract development activities, and the selection of key suppliers. Escalation point for contract disputes with strategic suppliers. Lead strategy and support activities including spend analytics, development of annual strategic sourcing plan, and performance measurements. Maintain contact with business unit leaders to ascertain performance of Enterprise Procurement organization and makes adjustments as necessary to improve such performance.
