As a substitute teacher I am taking on the role to carryout the teachers lesson plans and utilize a variety of teaching strategies. I am also to provide behavior expectations and monitor students throughout the day. Planning lessons and also perform non-instructional duties assigned by the school. Planning and adapting lessons, curriculum to meet the needs of all children while promoting and maintaining a positive learning environment.

Some duties include assisting the teacher in classroom management, assisting in lessons and helping students with assignments, performs clerical task, monitor needs of students and help when needed, monitor quizzes and assignments. I am also to help with grading, organization, student folders, preparing material and bulletin boards for the classroom.

During this time I would Substitute for teachers who were absent in Early Childhood Education classrooms. Under direction of a certificated employees i would assist in providing instruction in the classroom and on the playground while promoting social, mental, physical development. I also performed related duties as required such as maintaing a clean clean and safe enviornment.
