I implemented the daily instructional plans of the classroom teacher in an effective manner. This included maintaining a class environment favorable to learning and personal growth and establishing rapport with pupils while maintaining proper classroom management. In addition, I worked with the building administrator and other teachers to minimize any potential transition problems from the teacher to substitute and substitute to teacher. Although my undergraduate concentration was in Geography, it has always been my goal to become a teacher. I completed practicum in a 9th grade Geography classroom where I attended staff, curriculum, and parent meetings, and observed and documented a professional teacher's job performance.
