While working with Amanda Sliwa, I watched her create strategic marketing events that required both advance planning and "thinking on her feet." One of the events I worked with her on had attendees who rated the event extremely high from the content to ease of the registration process. Amanda constantly pushed the team to think about the customer journey at an event from the names we called spaces, to what we asked of our audience at each session to how people physically needed to navigate a space. I felt very supported as I learned the ropes of event activations with sponsors and product demonstrations. Amanda is a patient, kind and strategic leader. While I did not report to her directly, I looked to her as a senior member of our team for advice and to bounce ideas off her. Highly recommend her!

I worked with Amanda on two large sponsorship projects: HomeAway/Vrbo's hospitality lounge at ACL Music Festival and the fan activation at the Vrbo Citrus Bowl in Orlando. I really enjoyed working with Amanda and her team on those projects. She was professional yet personable, and not afraid to get her hands dirty (or drive a giant orange around Orlando on a flatbed truck) to make sure that an event went on without a hitch.
