  General duties: Perform comprehensive and problem focused histories and physical examinations, interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests. Interpret and correlate subjective and objective data. Formulate a differential diagnosis and establish and a working diagnosis. Develop and implement a treatment plan in conjunction with supervising physicians. Office duties: See all new office patients and complete a thorough history and physical examination that is problem oriented. Present patients to the attending physician, help formulate a treatment plan, order appropriate radiographic studies and perform office procedures such as nasal endoscopy, flexible laryngoscopy, minor surgical procedures, fine needle aspiration, etc. Evaluate routine follow up visits, preoperative, and postoperative patients. Return phone calls from patients and/or answering service, handle prescription refills, review radiographic and laboratory reports for abnormalities. Perform quality assurance of in-office staff.
