Amanda is an awesome detail-oriented design leader, teammate, strategic thinker and collaborator—to list off just a few hats she wore during her time at IBM iX. I had the privilege of serving as her copy counterpart for a period of time and I was constantly impressed by her! She was always thinking ahead, asking smart questions about the user and pushing the creative work to be the best that it could be. I always, always, always knew I could rely on Amanda to churn out high-quality work even if there was a tight turnaround, zero budget and many client constraints. Not only is she a talented designer, she actually made even the most mundane projects super fun. I loved collaborating with her because she always thought holistically about the end user and the business objectives—ensuring that the final product delivered on both in an impactful way. She was one of my favorite designers to work with and any company would be lucky to have her leading their design group.
