  • Oversee the implementation of the YMCA’s one-year Diabetes Prevention Program offered by Metro Health, create quarterly reports and help serve 750 people annually. • Supervise VISTA AmeriCorp employees by coordinating, planning and monitoring quality improvement projects to enhance the diabetes program processes. • Served as lead investigator for a mix-methods evaluation study; created project timelines and evaluation tools to assess participants’ diabetes knowledge and program retention; analyzed statistical data and provided a recommendation report to help increase the programs’ retention rate. • Collaborate with community partners- worksites, City departments, school districts, apartment communities and religious organizations and populations of great diversity to recruit and implement the diabetes programs. • Experienced in developing project proposals and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) for program implementation, data collection, data entry, data analysis and data quality checks. • Develop, edit and coordinate recruitment/promotional materials and media messaging for the City’s social media sites and other media outlets.
