Some expectations you can have for myself, and our team are: • Conducting research and analysis on potential suppliers to assess their suitability for the company • Gathering and evaluating data on suppliers' financial stability, quality control systems, and compliance with regulations and industry standards • Conducting on-site audits or assessments of suppliers to verify the accuracy of information and assess the supplier's operations • Collaborating with internal teams to identify and prioritize critical suppliers • Developing and implementing strategies to mitigate supplier risk • Onboarding new suppliers by coordinating the necessary documentation, processes, and communications • Managing the supplier onboarding process, including tracking progress and ensuring all necessary steps are completed • Maintaining and updating supplier information in the company's database • Providing support to internal teams during the supplier selection process, including participating in RFQs (request for quotes) and RFPs (request for proposals) • Working with the procurement team to negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers
