I teach first and second grade students reading below grade level in 45 minute sessions in a small group setting. I have a total of 30 students seen in groups of five. My teaching targets reading weaknesses and is data driven and specific to each student's needs through differentiated instruction. I am a member of the Leadership and Data team. In addition, I serve as the Student Support Team chairperson. I publish the school's weekly newsletter as well as the school's website. I am also the ESOL liaison for our school. Show less

As a classroom teacher, I taught all subjects implementing flexible, small group, data driven instruction. I served as a model classroom teacher for the Cornerstone Literacy Initiative. In addition, I participated in DODEA grant training learning to utilize podcasting and video technology to enhance instruction.
