    • Camp Director
      • May 2021 - Jul 2021

As the camp director, I organized the campers daily schedules as well as create the tasks, crafts, and/or games for the day. The camp attendance ranged from 30-70 campers, typically leaning towards the higher end of the spectrum. In addition, I scheduled 5-10 workers for each week from 10-20 workers. As most jobs with children include, I handled all contact with parents. This job was extremely rewarding, especially watching first-hand how the campers that endured the previous year of a pandemic relearn, or even learn for the first time, how to interact and socialize in-person with children and adults outside of their immediate family. In addition, I was able to grow and harness my soft skills like communication with workers and “clients” (campers and their parents) that will benefit me greatly in my future career as a Physician Assistant. I played for the University of Georgia softball team where I learned how to foster positive relationships with my teammates and coaches. Our team values focused on a family-oriented dynamic through uplifting encouragement and goal-setting, both personally and collectively, every day. The knowledge and skills I gained in this platform have been critical in shaping my behavior and relationships towards patients, co-workers, and bosses.
