  I'm responsable for updating the land custodianship map for the Australian Capital Territory. I'm using ArcGIS to perform this task, mainly SQL to quick find the information I need. I also use "Field calculator" to update the attributes. To gather the right data I'm constantly liasioning with public servants across ACT. Collaboration is very important so the clients know what is expected from them and they agree with the end result.

  To begin with my main task was checking X-plans and comparing with the database to make sure all measurements were correct. Later on I got to assist with checking and maintainsurveying controll marks and update them to prepare for the transition to the new GDA 2020 datum.
