Led and grew a static organization's paid membership by over 500% in two years. Increased annual revenue by $100k+ in eighteen months. Restructured the organization through visioning workshops, forming a bylaws committee and rewriting/updating bylaws from 2002 with a fresh and very ambitious set of goals. Held visioning/missioning workshops to craft mission statement and organizational goals. Implemented “Executive Board” to maintain transparency in the organization and streamline communication with general membership. Transitioned the organization online and onboarded the entire school community (parents and teachers) to the newly created website www.IPSPTO.com. Revamped digital student/parent directory with a goal of connecting families to each other and to the school community. Transitioned to a 100% digital model for purchases so that financial transparency was ensured and money was not being handled inappropriately. Moved accounting to a cloud-based non-profit system (Money Minder) and worked closely with Treasurer to ensure financial accuracy in reporting. Implemented series of year-long initiatives and fundraisers which resulted in a net profit of over $60,000 at the close of our first year’s budget, and $87,000 net profit in our second year.
