To Whom It May Concern: It is my distinct pleasure to write this letter of recommendation for Amanda Hubbard, who has been my clinical nurse manager for five years. The letter below are my personal opinions of Amanda. As a clinical nurse manager, Amanda is a vital member of the clinic leadership team, and is ultimately responsible for the clinical staff, the centers clinical outcomes, and all clinical metrics. Over the past five years, Amanda has become a trusted consigliere; not only to myself, but also the clinic’s Medical Director, and our Hospital partner. Amanda has brought new products to the Wound Center, navigating the complex new product review committee at our partner hospital, which allowed us to use innovative products that other clinics could not. The result of this was an immediate and sustained improvement in the clinics comprehensive heal rates (an increase of almost 10%). Some additional highlights of Amanda’s career are: Consistently improved Clinic’s Patient Satisfaction Scores Year over Year 2016 88.94% 2017 94.41% 2018 95.11% 2019 95.18% Improved Overall Comprehensive Heal Rate (National Average is 75%) 2018 78.88% (~10% improvement over 2017) 201975.79% (Hospital Partner lost #3 Insurance Plan) Patient Outlier Rate that is one of the lowest in the nation 2016 2.17% 2017 4.55% 2018 4.66% 2019 7.00% Amanda has been instrumental in our clinic’s ability to attract and retain some of the best wound care nurses – all turn-over in the clinic has been positive, and the nurses Amanda attracted to the clinic have elevated the clinics abilities and reputation. Amanda has done a stellar job in training new staff, and the staff associated with our hospital partner. Amanda has been my right hand, and go to person for driving and crunching the clinic’s data. It has been a pleasure and honor to learn from Amanda, and to see Amanda grow professionally over the past five years. I could not be more proud to recommend her, or more sorrowful to lose her as a dear friend and co-worker. Sincerely, Joe Ferrari Program Director – Turkey Creek Wound Care and Hyperbaric Center
