Despite a fear of zip- line flying (and only a carabiner between me and certain doom), here I am - volunteering to head a department in need of leadership and positivity. My purpose is to grow the team, get them invested in their area, and create an amazing experience for everyone who visits this attraction. As I tell all curious guests - I manage chaos. It has been a goal of mine to work with teenagers and to make a positive impact. While managing the kind of chaos that only teenagers can create, I think I've reached that goal. While I am always sad when a good worker leaves, I am always glad to know that they have attained the skills needed to move forward in their lives and that I was able to provide the work environment to make that happen. It was the best job I've ever had - every day was like Christmas. I got to interact with children who were entranced with the magic of Disney, build displays of awesome product, and organize the back storeroom to my heart's content.
