  I am a dyslexia Specialist trained using Region 20's Reading By Design (RBD) program. I attend the annual dyslexia conferences every year. I have been the 1st grade Team Lead, 1st grade MTSS coach, on the district MTSS committee and the PreKinder-2nd Grade alignment team. As a dyslexia specialist, I was trained and evaluated students for dyslexia under section 504. When the law changed and placed dyslexia under special education, I went back to school to obtain my educational Diagnostician certification. I have continued my role as a dyslexia specialist as well as adding educational diagnostician responsibilities when we are looking for dyslexia under special education. Show less
