On 2018, I worked for VTEX's global checkout experience. The checkout is the company's core product and vital to customer satisfaction and retention. As a global product, our Checkout V6 solution embraced both B2C and B2B contexts and provided new and innovative solutions to address complex shipping and pickup logistics issues. On 2019, I took on a new challenge and became the main designer for VTEX's POS platform. Our main projects during that time were: VTEX Payment sync app and its on-site payment experience, VTEX Picking and Exchange and Return solutions. I had a very hands-on role, being responsible for research, prototyping, and testing, as well as some team backlog prioritization, vision, and roadmap definition. In parallel with my responsibilities as a designer, I was also very active in our hiring and hunting workforces. I interviewed and evaluated candidates while also providing constructive feedback for those who would not make the cut. During my last year at the company, I also mentored less-experienced designers and was an advocate for diversity in our workspace and hiring initiatives.
