  I started working on the accreditation pathways for the MBSAQIP. I act as liaisons between patients and surgeons who will be performing surgeries. I am the administrator of the bariatric department’s personnel. Duties also include keeping up inventory and supplies and being current on all regulations and protocols. As a bariatric coordinator, I attend to the the needs of the patients and monitor the patients after care. To ensure proper after-care, a registered nurse and/or dietician is necessary.
