  Quite honored to be a recipient of the Rasmuson Foundation's 2014 artist awards, though my project is rather ambitious. I hit the ground running, diving into to the process of researching and recording interviews and collecting field audio for a series of fishing-related radio stories. The stories will cover a range of activities that aren't often the face of Alaska's fishing scene, from a remote hatchery to diving for sea cucumbers. The final product will be a production for broadcast of unknown scope; the subjects have proven to be quite compelling and may warrant a longer story than I initially anticipated.
