      • Jan 2018 - Present

Currently working in a multi-skilled role that includes coaching, teacher training and quality assurance. I work with new teachers, lecturers and assessors who need support to make sustained improvements in the quality of their teaching, learning and assessment skills. My main aim is to develop individuals into good or better teachers. I work with teachers to pinpoint their developmental needs, deliver training and observe to see if improvements have been made. Training is facilitated to enable staff to share areas of good practice with one another. All aspects of teaching, learning and assessment are covered: starting points, differentiation, Assessment for Learning, links to the Education Inspection Framework. Quality review processes are a significant part of my role as I am efficient in conducting work scrutiny and audits on the quality of education for FE, HE and the apprenticeship team. I am part of the college's quality team and conduct observations and learning walks on a regular basis independently and with colleagues. Show less
