• Plan, organize and oversee the preschool sports programs, classes, and camps for participants between the ages of 3-7 years of age. • Hire, train, schedule, enter payroll and supervise between 40-60 part-time staff. • Inventory, purchase, organize and assist with moving equipment and supplies needed for programs and camps. • Plan, organize and oversee the adult pickleball leagues, classes, programs, clinics and tournaments. • Plan, organize and oversee with martial arts contractors to schedule youth and adult seasonal programs and camps. • Monitor registration, team development and oversee logistics of the Youth Soccer League. • Directly supervise 20-25 volunteer coaches in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures. • Negotiate service agreements; review and approve invoice payments; monitor the status of contractual arrangements including oversee compliance with contractual obligations and insurance liability requirements. • Plan and oversee the Martial Arts business area within a self-sustaining Bureau of Recreation. • Provide customer service regarding programming questions, prepare program evaluations and address customer’s comments/complaints. • Coordinate with the Board of Education and county facilities to reserve fields, gyms, rooms and courts for programs and cancel when needed. • Use ActiveNet and SAP to generate reports to track revenue and spending. • Use ActiveNet software to input and maintain programs; utilize different features daily for instructors, customers and internal department updates. • Provide information to the Marketing Department to promote and advertise seasonal programs and camps through activity guides, fliers, SCALA slides, social media, etc. • Collaborate with Capital Projects Division to renovate and expand facility amenities to meet the demand of growing sports such as pickleball. • Assist with operations of Division and Department events and tournaments Show less
