I had the pleasure of working alongside Amanda as both her manager and as a teammate when she moved into a leadership role in our organization. She is deeply committed to partnering with people to address challenges of equity and access. She has a command of protocols and structures that support teams to collaborate, analyze and address root challenges to complex problems. She is skilled in meeting people where they are while supporting them to not lose sight of the larger goal. While deeply skilled and informed in her work, she maintains curiosity as a learner - continuing to explore and integrate new research in her work - and seeking feedback from clients and peers alike to improve her effectiveness with clients and contributions to her team. Amanda is funny and creative and focused and smart and would be an asset to any organization.

Set clear performance and developmental goals. - Build and sustain an organizational culture of learning and continuous improvement using annual and rapid improvement cycles. Launched the use of Mighty Networks - a social media platform designed to support staff and clients to share the novel learning and insights emerging from their day-to-day work.- Codevelop and lead the annual strategy for the internal learning that keeps our program delivery strong - including dedicated time for deepening our knowledge and skills as antiracist educators and coaches. In the ’21-’22 school year an average of 68% of participants across our external learning networks agreed or strongly agreed that our work helped improve learning outcomes for their students.- Develop a strategy for long term maintenance of key organizational resources, including an internal library of 40 professional development sessions and almost 100 folders of in-house resources. • Transformation Network Program Director
      • Sep 2016 - Jul 2020

In this role I led the implementation and codification of a new program model meant to increase the sustainability and transparency of our school transformation approach. I managed a team of field staff implementing our new model. I led our staff internally in a process of reflecting on our learnings, capturing necessary adjustments, and strategizing around our updated approach to program implementation. This model was used as the foundational program model for the 13-million-dollar Bill and Melinda Gates Grant secured by Partners in 2019.
