  The Missouri Fine Arts Academy (MFAA) is a two-week summer residential program for highly motivated high school student artists in visual arts, theatre, dance, creative writing, and music. As a resident assistant, I worked closely with a group of students, leading and supervising them in the residence hall. I helped to create an atmosphere that encouraged students to take advantage of all that MFAA has to offer. I also assisted with the academic and/or co-curricular programs, including helping in MFAA classrooms, supervising groups of students at events, facilitating workshops or programs, conducting daily assemblies, and performing office duties.
