I am responsible for being part of a team of assistants that helps patients to check into and out of a busy chiropractic clinic, including determining payment amounts owed and collecting these after each patient has been treated. I work with student interns and assist them in gathering patient information and files in order to treat them as needed. Other duties include answering incoming telephone calls, researching and providing medical record information and scheduling patient appointments.
