Within the Environmental & Planning department I was responsible for finding spatial solutions using ArcGIS software as well as performing analysis for design/build impacts of engineering projects. For field data collection, I customized ArcGIS applications such as Survey 123 and Collector and utilized ArcGIS Online and/or Pro to display results and create feature reports. Additionally, I have experience performing traffic noise analyses and completing Traffic Noise Reports for NCDOT. Assisted Dr. Stuart Bishop with interpreting water property data collected by a Seaglider in the Pacific Ocean, off the coast of Cape Mendocino, CA. I utilized Matlab to determine and model the oxygen flux between surface waters and the atmosphere taking into account wind velocity data, sea surface temperature, and salinity. I used geospatial analysis techniques to account for variability in oxygen concentration due to regional geological and atmospheric conditions.
