When I created the SBI Foundation in 2015 and was appointed its first MD, one of the first direct recruitment I made was Aman Bhaiya. He was fresh at that time and did help me in setting up the SBI Foundation, which is the first Section 8 company in the BFSI sector. He is extremely active, has an excellent connect with the social sector and is very good at recognising the good work being done by the better NGOs. I used to trust him in getting the NGOs with whom we can partner. And, while I was there for a short while, he never disappointed me. If the SBI Foundation is now recognised as one of the most trusted foundations, it is thanks to Aman and his sincere and dedicated work. He has been able to take SBI Foundation to great heights in a short span of 4-5 years. All the best to Aman for his future.

I have known Aman since the day SBI Foundation came into existence. He has indepth knowledge about social sector and various laws relating to CSR. He has been a great source as far as preparing board level meeting papers and power point slides is concerned. He has also cultivated relations at all levels with various other foundations/organisations. He has also manifested good command over communication during meetings. His skills in evaluating proposals received for grants are also fairly developed.

He joined SBI in May 2015 to set up SBI Foundation, a CSR vehicle for undertaking strategic CSR on behalf of the entire State Bank Group which comprises of 14 subsidiaries in various sectors like Investment Banking, Insurance etc. He worked alongside the Managing Director (SBIF) and Chairman (SBI) to frame policies, deal with Tax authorities, Regulators etc. He was deputed to SBI Foundation as the AVP & Program Head with a KRA to put the company on track to become a force to reckon with.
