  • Responsible for the scheduling and coordinating of the flow of work within or between departments of the manufacturing plant• Establishes and reviews the master production schedule• Organizing and prioritizing production orders for customer orders as per stock or replenishment lead time• Acts as a liaison between Supply Chain, Sales and Customer Service teams with project due dates • Coordinates and adjusts production schedules to meet deadlines• Monitors the deviation between planned and actual production• Reviews daily open orders to ensure order fulfillment is achieved• Will be the liaison between the Production and Engineering departments to change production processes and alter sequences of jobs, and release appropriate paperwork • Making appropriate changes to the job orders depending on customers customization• Oversees the production planning function during design and/or production stages of assigned special projects• Performs lead time analysis and prepare production schedules based on priority, lead time, quantity, and product availability• Responsible to ensure that raw material inventory can meet production requirements, and place orders for required product• Produces forecast production and inventory requirements to maintain stock of raw materials for the warehouse• Supports and leads a culture of continuous improvement, for production planning/scheduling, but also within the Supply Chain Management team • Manages the daily KPI’s for production planning/scheduling• Responsible for Operational adjustments, including job order fixes and inventory adjustments• A backup to the IT department, in the event of an absence or overabundance of IT related issues Show less
