  I worked in Eurofins microbiology lab testing Elisa, Listeria and Salmonellae in food. I have also voluntarily worked in the water lab for a week and chemistry lab to test food for a week. I used to prepare sample of food containing 20% more fat content (with tween) and other with BPW etc. These were then plated and poured with appropriate agar and then incubated for analysis.
