Assessing the impact of cane toads on Kimberley herpetofauna. Conducted daytime and nocturnal amphibian surveys (mark recapture) of Magnificent Tree Frogs including frog handling and processing (disease detection through swabbing, animal marking (PIT tagging), animal weighing and measuring, DNA punctures), was assigned to independently undertake daily checks of pitfall trap lines and confidently identify herpetofauna, check and reset funnel and Elliot traps daily, nocturnal crocodile surveys, daytime and nocturnal turtle surveys including turtle handling and processing (animal marking (notch coding), animal weighing and measuring), setting up and recording GPS coordinates of game cameras, & data management and entry.

- Frog husbandry, first aid and monitoring; this included PIT tagging, VIE tagging, disease infection detection using swabbing techniques, DNA punctures, measuring and weighing, disease treatment, and injury treatment all in a manner that was thorough and un-stressful to the animal. - Laboratory analysis of Batrachochytrium dendrobatidis samples through DNA extraction and quantification using Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) techniques. - Managing and reviewing scientific documentation; including data presentation through both Microsoft Excel and JMP, creation and management of reference catalogues through EndNote, and reviewing and editing. - Compiling, organising, and analysing large master datasets for 17 years’ worth of field survey data. - Reviewing scientific literature, and preparing and writing reviews based on literature found. - Preparing legislative and animal ethics applications and monitoring the compliance to these conditions. - Equipment maintenance and ordering.
