  Decided to take a position back home in the USA with Wood Group as a contractor for Enven Energy during the transition of ownership of Brutus platform from Shell to Enven Energy. • Shadowed Shell employees for 1 month to learn the daily routine of the facility and get a sense of the equipment, then took over as maintenance mechanic during Enven ownership. • Troubleshoot, maintain, overhaul and repair all mechanical equipment including: 3 Taurus 60 Solar turbine generators, 4 AC Dover dry screw VRU compressors, 3 Ingersoll-Rand pipeline pumps, Mars 90 turbine engine driving Mann-Turbo centrifugal compressor, Taurus 60 Solar turbine engine driving centrifugal compressor, 2 Atlas Copco screw instrument air compressors, Caterpillar 3508 emergency generator, 3 Caterpillar 3412 Diesel engines for platform cranes, 2 Caterpillar 3412 fire water pump engines. • Part of the emergency response technical team. • Regularly part of the fast rescue craft launching for drills and training. Certified to drive the fast rescue craft. • Regularly part of the lifeboat launching for drills and training, also certified to drive them. • Participated and trained with Marine Well Containment Company MWCC with Wood. • Consistently rebuilding all types of pumps. • Consistently troubleshooting and repairing turbine engine fuel systems. • Consistently troubleshooting and repairing gas and lube oil cooler systems for the several compressors. We also verified the piping and instrumentation from the P&IDs. • Staid on the project from commissioning to first oil. • Commissioned and ran the platform crane with mechanical team. • Gained a lot of varied mechanical experience on many different types of equipment.
