Cardiovascular research project sponsored by the British Heart Foundation (BHF) and done under Dr A.J. Stewart and Dr S.J. Pitt. “circulatory zinc ‘speciation’ and its relevance to cardiovascular disease”. I also did a short project on "lipidomics in diabetes". Writing experience: 1) 5 research articles and 5 highly cited reviews. 2) Grant applications: obtained a £680 travel grant and a £7,386 6-month stipend. 3) Designed an infographic presenting the lab to the general public. 4) Course design and teaching: - academic skills workshops to high school students; - science lectures to the local community.
