It is with great pleasure that I recommend Alyssa Bradbury-Hills. Alyssa reported directly to me during my 8-plus year tenure at EH Publishing and helped make my work at EH successful. A manager couldn’t ask for more. When I joined EH in 2000 Alyssa was art directing all of the consumer and trade publications as well as creating or overseeing the design of all promotion and collateral materials. Working at a growing company, Alyssa wore many hats. She spearheaded the initial redesign of Electronic House magazine working with a nationally recognized magazine designer to position Electronic House as the leading consumer electronics lifestyle magazine. After the successful relaunch of Electronic House Alyssa took on the redesign of CE Pro magazine, the CE industry’s leading trade publication. Alyssa became an integral member of the editorial team in helping build relationships with the CE dealer/integrator communities as well as key manufacturer relationships insuring that both magazines had engaging content for print and online. Alyssa always went above and beyond her job description of Creative Director to help any department or initiative become successful. She conceptualized and executed on grass roots marketing campaigns to help promote the Electronic House brand, created custom pitch products for the sales team to use across consumer and trade publications, took on the management of the EH Home of the Year and Buyer’s Guides as well as any EH Publishing project she knew needed help. Alyssa did not get caught up in the confines of a job description. Alyssa is extremely detailed and deadline oriented. She has an infectious enthusiasm that rallies the people she manages as well as the team working on any project. It was very lucky to have Alyssa part of my team.
