I had the pleasure of working with Alyssa extensively during my time at Twitch. Initially, I worked with Alyssa to distill and evangelize the importance of social impact to sports creators on the platform. Eventually, Alyssa and I were able to work more closely together on papering social impact and DEI initiatives for our organization. Alyssa has a staunch commitment to social impact, and she is able to easily infuse social impact initiatives throughout large, matrixed organizations. She is deeply passionate about doing the right thing. In a tech industry that is becoming increasingly more creator-driven, Alyssa has the toolkit needed to grow diverse, inclusive communities and establish meaningful partnerships with mission-driven brands, charities, and creators. Alyssa is also a strong leader who is able to efficiently develop strategies and papers, gain trust, and get things done cross-functionally. She challenges the status quo regularly and empowers her colleagues to be and do better. She is a true asset to any organization or project she joins.

Aly is one of the best colleagues I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Her deep passion for the creator community shone through in her work, and she has developed innovative programs serving underrepresented communities. She excels at not only thought leadership, but people and project management. It’s a powerful combination.

In my time working with Aly, she has always been incredibly helpful, resourceful, and genuinely cares about the work she does and the people she works with! Together, we worked on building the Creator Allyship Course for Content Creators in 2021 and her leadership has helped me grow as a creator, consultant, and professional! As a person who is neuro-diverse, Aly is very patient and understanding of those challenges and works to make sure you have the tools and resources you need to succeed. She is always open to new ideas and perspectives, and always willing to listen and learn! Looking forward to working together again in the future!

While continuing to enhance the impact of charitable organizations and Twitch creators, I worked with external organizations to address the changing tides in peer to peer and influencer fundraising. I managed relationships with companies such as fundraising platforms and talent agencies looking to execute charitable programs within the live streaming industry on Twitch.Internally, I established policies, procedures and education resources so that teams are able to create and execute programs and content relating to charity awareness and fundraising.
