Alyssa performed exceptionally well in her internship with our group. I especially appreciate her ability to work independently and her persistence when things got complicated allowing her to stay on target. I would assign tasks, she would take copious notes to clarify expectations and then execute the project efficiently and before deadline. Alyssa has a quiet and reserved disposition but a genuine charisma that will serve her well in any team or customer facing role in the future. She was also remarkably effective in her approach to connecting with people in her desired industry to interview. When the assignment was to interview one person, Alyssa connected with 5 or 6 people, all from various segments of the arts, music, performance and management side of the entertainment industry. Her willingness to record these sessions was extremely helpful to the other members of her team. It is clear that she put some serious thought into a few of the questions that she asked and the results were fantastic. Finally, Alyssa had the ability to act as a team leader and did a nice job reporting back on the team's progress. I was happy and proud to host a student of her caliber this semester. The fact that she attended my Alma Matter (WSU) was a pleasant bonus. I would recommend Alyssa for any role in the sales and marketing field that she would pursue.
