With a classmate, conducted a literature review and needs assessment to determine public health needs and programming gaps at The Children's Center and in community mental health settings for preschool-aged children. We then created a 4-week training program on body awareness, including weekly classroom activities that could be implemented in the therapeutic preschool at The Children's Center. McKay-Dee Inpatient Rehabilitation Worked directly with a diverse adult client population including; cerebrovascular accident (CVA), traumatic brain injury (TBI), total hip arthroplasty (THA), spinal surgeries, and Guillain-Barre syndrome (GBS). Evaluated client's ADLs, strength, cognition, and functional performance. Developed occupational therapy goals and implemented intervention sessions to facilitate client progress.
