Alyssa was with us from the very beginning of The COVID-19 Data Project. Alyssa’s adaptability and positive attitude made her an absolute joy to work with. I can recommend Alyssa and say that she most certainly is: * Very organized and self-directed. Alyssa is able to handle the complexity of a pandemic, an internship, classes, and major exams, all white helping us to maintain a dataset that requires daily updating. She is very self-disciplined and demonstrates professional integrity. When faced with a challenge, Alyssa takes responsibly and action. She creates systems and organizational strategies to ensure that solutions are found and deadlines are met. * An outstanding communicator and a reliable team member. While working on a remote, global team, Alyssa was diligent and trustworthy. During a time of personal and professional upheaval, Alyssa maintained a positive attitude, a steady work ethic, and handled the changes around her with grace and dignity. * Skilled with data and research. During her time on the internship, Alyssa was clearly very comfortable with large, crowd-sourced real-world datasets that updated and changed daily. These data often require investigation and it was clear that she is a natural researcher. I cannot recommend Alyssa highly enough. The program was better because Alyssa was on it.
