Alyssa Gold is an intelligent and optimistic top performer that excels in all areas of her current position. I have worked with Alyssa for a little over 3 years, and she has proven to be supportive, dependable, and passionate about the success of not only her students but the team as well. Alyssa has led peer trainings to assist in developing the team, and she makes her self available to assist the team when needed. She has an incredible work ethic, and it has truly been a joy to work with her.

I have worked with Alyssa for the past 3 years on the Re-Entry team at Independence University. She is my go-to person for resources. Her patient kindred spirit of teaching makes it easy to approach her with anything and she always explains it in a way that doesn't make you feel inferior. She also kills it at team building games with her competitive nature which I just adore. Alyssa would be an asset to any growing organization that values the need for a real team player who's reliable, knowledgeable and organized.

In this position, it is my responsibility to interview and recommend qualified candidates for programs within the University. I primarily work with students who have been in class with us before, and are looking to return to finish their degree program. If we mutually determine that the applicant is a good fit, I work with the student through the admissions process, applying for financial aid, and assist them in starting their classes. This is a remote position where I work from home and have to effectively manage myself and my time.
