• Headed the research proposal and literature review titled, “Establishing a Department of Gender Equality in the United States of America.” The goal was to defend the lobbying of creating a U.S. Department of Gender Equality to the Biden campaign. The proposal was approved by internal Oxfam reviewers and external reviews from other organizations. All reviewers said the project should move to the next stage based on the first draft of the proposal. The literature review collected literature and data on similar entities in other countries, explored the history of gender inequality in the U.S., and provided five recommendations for establishing the department. • Contributed to the report titled, “How COVID-19 Is Fueling Hunger in A Hungry World” through summarizing literature, data collection and analysis, and editing and reviewing. The report had promotions in over 30 countries, and 3,400 media hits including on over 90 top tier news outlets. • Created a daily news brief to be sent to the Food Systems Thematic Team that focused on articles with a racial equity lens to support Oxfam’s commitment to racial equity.
