I specifically work for MegaDiamond, who is owned by Schlumberger. Our company manufactures diamond bits for our oil rigs. As the Management Accountant, I handle all of the fixed assets for MegaDiamond and two other companies also owned by Schlumberger. In addition, I manage all the accounting and payroll for Novatek, a sister company also owned by Schlumberger. I assist with month end procedures, taxes, and intercompany journals. I worked under the Controller as the GL Accountant and assisted her in any of her duties. My main duties included maintaining the GL, creating and posting journal entries, month end procedures, assistance with financial statements both quarterly and annually, and collections management. I was able to improve 5 processes which cut down on labor time and cost. The process I am most proud of was automating our entire collections process from sending out collection letter reminders to sending the account to a third party collection agency. There was only minimal manual work after the improvement and I cut a 12 hour process to a 1 hour process. Show less

I greeted guests and helped them on Muppet Vision 3D, It's Tough To Be A Bug, Cars Land Guest Control, and World of Color all in California Adventure. I had to usher in guests to watch the Muppets and Bugs shows, direct guests to their proper seat in the theater, announce the show, and smile. I also was able to work the World of Color show in CA Adventure. The most important duty I had was to make sure everyone was happy and having a good time. The motto for the company is: “We create happiness.” I strived to do that and the cast members I worked with commented that I do. Show less
