This includes collaborating with team members to identify process improvements and conduct implementation efforts for a seamless experience. Lead/assist with managing/booking an average of 300+ blanket events and e-commerce orders per year. Project Management/Event Planning - Manage and lead annual F&TY events/fundraisers and other projects that are scheduled out for each fiscal year by the Executive Director and myself. This includes our annual Golf Outing and Make a Blanket Day events where hundreds of community members come together to make thousands of blankets in-person, remotely, or both, to support children in hospitals! Strategic Planning: Responsible for keeping the team and board of directors on track with key projects and tasks related to our 5 year strategic plan. Communications: Lead our internal and external communication efforts. Manage all social platforms by creating and publishing content to engage with our F&TY community. Work with PR team to develop stories around current events and initiatives at F&TY to secure media coverage. Leadership: Supervise 3-5 team members that make up our Warehouse Cutting team, Volunteer and Warehouse Coordinators, and communication interns as needed. I also train and oversee our group of F&TY Student Organization Leaders at U of M, MSU, GVSU, WMU, and Wayne State that help us lead blanket events at their respective universities.
