CLIVAR is an international research program dedicated to studying the ocean’s role in global climate change. It is one of the core projects sponsored by the World Climate Research Program (WCRP). The WCRP supports the United Nation’s Framework Convention on Climate Change. I support scientists in planning workshops and facilitating working groups in my role, while co-leading communications and outreach. SkyNano is a science-based technology company working towards sustainably creating carbon nanotubes (CNT) derived from carbon dioxide. Our carbon-negative process generates a strong, lightweight, and thermally conductive material that has application across the aerospace, construction, defense, electronics, green energy, and manufacturing industries. Our projects are funded by the Department of Defense, Department of Energy, National Science Foundation, and the State of Tennessee. In addition to independently operating laboratory equipment, I perform data analysis using R. I assess material performance to visualize CNT quality and purity over time. I also analyze voltage data, which involves quality cleaning checks and assessing files for inconsistencies or data gaps. During weekly team meetings, I provide technical expertise and guidance regarding data analysis. Lastly, I supervised and mentored four undergraduate student interns. Show less
