HR: in addition to the duties stated below, ensuring policies across the group were consistent, welcoming new team members and ensuring staff retention after the merger, assisting the Directors in making key decisions around the Coronavirus Pandemic and conveying that to the staff, keeping staff morale up during the pandemic, keeping across the various group bonus structures, ensuring more diverse hires. Finance: in addition to the duties stated below, leading the financial functions across the group which consists of 5 entities, ensuring any new entities added to the group were compliant (registered with companies house, VAT registered, correct filing, etc), supporting the business through the Coronavirus Pandemic (including stress testing and renegotiating with suppliers). Operations: in addition to the duties stated below, carrying out additional office move, assisting with the new office policy post-pandemic. 2014- 2018 Operations Manager HR: recruitment, liaising with agencies and negotiating terms, onboarding staff, post-probation follow ups, working with management to create a competitive staff benefits package, ensuring staff appraisal and KPI processes were being followed, organising team socials. Finance: forecasting, budgeting, payroll, liaising with the bookkeeper and accountants, credit control, debtor control, overseeing the statutory accounts procedure, negotiating client contracts and supplier contracts.
