Responsible for strategy and product development for the next generation of consumer payments products across Lloyds Banking Group brands and divisions. Developing a continuous roadmap of innovative propositions and enabling the organisation to evolve in an environment of continued technological and regulatory change. Projects include:-Delivery of Apple Pay (mobile contactless payments in partnership with Apple Inc.) across Lloyds, Bank of Scotland and Halifax brands, leading on business and commercial aspects across the full project lifecycle. -Developed a payments market economics model and produced a recommendation on risks and opportunities in the payments value chain to shape the Group's payments strategy. -Conducted a number of strategic assessments of new payment schemes and partnerships, providing recommendations to Group executives e.g. assessment of the Zapp scheme (a new Faster Payments based mobile payments network).-Lead a comprehensive review of emerging mobile payments technology. Directing a specialist consultancy to assess technologies such as NFC/HCE, Faster Payments based systems, QR codes, in app and convergence solutions, to understand the potential for these to become ubiquitous in the UK market. -Co-ordinated a number of research agencies to deliver emerging payments market research capturing customer, merchant and regulatory perspectives and helping to define the Group strategy.

Managed the Bank of Scotland Savings portfolio of £17bn including ISA’s, fixed term bonds and variable rate products. This involved managing the full lifecycle of the products including financial performance, interest rate management, marketing and launch/removal of products.Projects include:-Simplified the legacy savings product range, improving transparency of product features and rates. -Commercial analysis and recommendation for an alternative savings business model proposal i.e. removing bonus rate element on savings products, which were a focal point for media and the regulator.-Headed the savings product workstream for the Best Brand for Scotland project which aimed at improving service propositions for customers on legacy brands in Scotland. -Led a marketing contribution evaluation project. Directed an analytics consultancy to measure the performance contribution from different marketing campaigns to inform future marketing spend.
