I perform research for the centre of Supramolecular Research. My research aims to model metal-organic-frameworks (MOFs) using various computational software packages (AIM, Gaussian, eDensity, Materials Studio etc.) to rationalize their solid-state properties. Furthermore, I will investigate the properties of crystals that contain pharmaceutically active ingredients (API). These compounds will also be incorporated into larger frameworks that could improve their solubility, decrease toxicity and improve their efficacy.
