• Geoscience Business Unit Manager

  Responsible for setting up the Geoscience Consultancy business unit within PDS to assure the continuity and growth of our domain expertise. The business unit provides several PDS-projects with in-depth understanding of the clients domain and has demonstrated to improve project delivery. I was accountable for the business performance of the unit and providing line-management to 8 geoscientists, as we strived to expand on the domain services that PDS can provide. In addition to my management role, I had two more complementary roles in the projects that my team delivered:I was involved with providing domain support to a team of software developers that were building proprietary plug-ins on top of Petrel. Next to helping our younger staff with getting up the learning curve, I worked very closely with our clients to steer developments and to deliver new functionality. Secondly, I provided workflow support and consultancy services to clients for virtually all aspects around modelling in Petrel. Whilst my core strengths are around static model building and using Petrel's workflow manager, I have built up experience in the following areas; Seismic interpretation, Time/depth conversion, Well correlation, Data management and Uncertainty analysis.
