  Conducted over fifteen hours of interviews with community members in West San Bernardino in order to collect personal accounts about how air pollution has impacted the health and quality of life of residents living near the BNSF Inter-modal Rail Facility. Produced a report that examines the human impact of industry in San Bernardino, by putting the accounts of community members in the context of human rights violations. Organized an environmental justice summit which targeted faculty at universities across Southern California, to orient them to the problems of residents in Riverside and San Bernardino Counties and explore ways that they and their students can make meaningfully contributions to CCAEJ's work.
