This shallow water platform was developed to support four oil wells located at Lake Maracaibo, Venezuela. > Conversion of an existing oil well platform into a platform for electrical equipment and oil and gas piping platforms for CNPC America LTD. It was required to evaluate conditions of the whole structure, design procedures to repair the structure below and over water level, made a 3D computerized model using StaadPro software to consider new loading conditions and updated codes and standards. > Evaluation of 13 existing communication steel towers.
