For the last year I've worked in the Venezuelan production of "Les Miserables". Primarily I started the production as a Production Assistant in the casting process. As the project further developed I moved up to a Production Manager working hand in hand with the General Producer, Claudia Salazar. Undertaking a project of this magnitude was incredible and doing it for the first time ever in Venezuela was truly an honor. While the cast was in rehearsals, my main task during preproduction was helping out the production designer find all the required material needed for set construction. Because I was out and about a lot I also got asked to acquire different products and material for every department. Once we had moved into the theater I was tasked with managing our orchestra which counted with over 45 musicians. The show only had 11 presentations but the owners of the rights, Cameron Mackintosh, his team and original music composer for the show, Claude-Michel Schönberg, were delighted with the production and have granted us the rights to take the show on a tour though different countries in South & Central America. In great part I'm there to help teach key work ethic values to the young staff and guide them in this process. Alpine Ski Instructor during the month of February for children ages 10 - 13 Having recently obtained my BASI Level 2 certification I was employed part time for the month of February to teach children alpine skiing. Director, Jon West, took a chance with me and gave me two large groups of 5 to 8 kids each day to take out on the mountain and train. It was a very rewarding job and due to my performance was asked to come back again the next season with a part time job. Production Manager for "PIAF" a Venezuelan original musical based on the life of Edith Piaf. The show premiered in October 13th 2016 at the Centro Cultural Chacao theater and was sold out for all 13 showings. I worked hand in hand with the other producer of the project, Claudia Salazar. The production was directed by Miguel Issa, written by the famous Leonardo Padrón and Executive produced by Mariangel Ruiz Torrealba. The lead of this musical was the multitalented renowned actress MARIACA SEMPRÚN. We had a 2nd Season on March 2017 at the Centro Cultural Chacao. Later the show went on the road a had showings in the following cities. Line Producer for "CASI NORMAL" the Venezuelan adaptation of the 2009 Broadway Musical "Next To Normal".. The show premiered in October 22nd 2015 at the Centro Cultural Chacao theater and was sold out for all 17 showings. It had a second season in February 2016 which also sold out every showing. I worked primarily as a line producer or right hand man for the producer, Claudia Salazar. The production was directed by Marcel Rasquin, a renown film director in Venezuela, and the executive producer for this was Rodolfo Rodríguez, president of FM CENTER one of the largest radio circuits in the country. The lead of this musical was the one and only KARINA. A very famous Venezuelan singer that to this day has never been surpassed by any other artist in Venezuela. Show less
