  My involvement as Local Programme Director for the International Organising Committee for the 10th World Choir Games Tswhane 2018, being engaged from Bid to completion, not only gave me experience on all aspects of such a mega project engaging with more than 300 choirs, more than 33,000 singers from 65 nations over a 10 day period, but illustrated the power of Choirs to create incredible awareness and tolerance of cultural diversity. Choral Celebration Network use Choirs as a tool to celebrate our unique cultures as a key ingredient to nation building, social cohesion and hope nationally in South Africa, Africa and globally. We are embarking on incredible unique projects to achieve our goals of engagement across race, religion and cultures, The last year with the Global Covid 19 Pandemic has challenged us to push our creativity even further and after cancelling 20 Regional events and one big international event at Sun City, we started to create hope by hosting 10 Virtual Choral Celebration Festivals in Series 1 engaging more than 7000 singers from mainly South Africa and then in Series 2 we hosted 14 events that engaged more than 9200 singers from around the world. I love creating networks, overcoming challenges and ensuring that the objectives set are met.
